We are delighted that two West Seattle Junction merchants designated us as beneficiaries for the Junction’s second Day of Giving on Saturday, April 29, 2017. The merchants are:

Bakery Nouveau

Thunder Road Guitars

If you shop at Bakery Nouveau between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 10 percent of the price of your purchases will be donated to the Southwest Seattle Historical Society.

The Junction-based Thunder Road Guitars will be closed that day because Thunder Road is taking part in the Tacoma Guitar Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day at the Tacoma Dome. Thunder Road is donating 10 percent of all sales at the festival to our organization! For more info on the festival, click here.

Last year, proceeds to our organization from the Junction Day of Giving totaled $2,200. In appreciation for their choosing us last year, we gave each merchant a mounted slice from the in-progress renovation of the Alki Homestead. The merchants are displaying the slices in the photos that accompany this text.
